Wesley Hindmarch Director
Architect
Director Wesley Hindmarch has 25 years architectural experience within the construction industry. He commenced his career as a tradesman then studied architecture at the University of Tasmania and Bauhaus University in Germany graduating in 2000. He traveled extensively and in 2003 until 2005 he worked for Alvaro Siza Architect (1992 Pritzker Prize winner) in Portugal. Upon returning to Australia he commenced private practice in Tasmania, founding Dock4 architects an award practice based in Melbourne and Tasmania. Wesley stepped down in 2016 as director to move to the South Coast of News South Wales with his family. Wesley’s experiences ranges from residential houses and extensions, multi-storey apartments, sporting pavilions, education facilities and bars, commercial fit-outs and cafes. Clients include local and state governments, private residential, developers, Kathmandu retail stores and hospitals. LocalArchitect are registered and regulated by the NSW ARCHITECTS REGISTRATION BOARD and a member of the AUSTRALIAN INSTITUTE OF ARCHITECTS serving the South Coast of Sydney. LocalArchitect complies with the NSW Architects Code of Professional Conduct and its Guidelines.
Renee McGuinn Director
Architect
Director Renee McGuinn has over 10 years of experience working across local government areas along the South Coast and Southern Highlands of New South Wales. She is a fully registered and highly experienced Architect with a demonstrated history of working in the architecture & planning industry.
Skilled in bespoke residential homes, sustainable design and contract management, Renee's approach to residential design is holistic with a focus on creating people-centred spaces both inside and out.
Renee herself is an active member of the Australian Institute of Architects whilst also sitting on the NSW Regional Committee and managing her duty as a founding member of the Regional Architects Association.
Nando Lattanzio Associate
Drafting Technician
Nando has over 20 years of experience working with local architects and builders delivering award winning residential and commercial projects.He is an experienced technical documenter utilising ArchiCAD to deliver buildable projects. Proficient in 3D visualisation utilising various software’s to bring potential projects to life.
Daryl Quek
Graduate Architect
Daryl is a recent Graduate of Architecture from the University of Tasmania in 2020 with experience working in an established local practice in Tasmania delivering high-end residential projects. He works with a design principle based on practicality and functional aesthetics to produce everlasting and meaningful projects in the built environment.

Aperture series - Regional Architecture in Focus - Artie Smith Oval by LocalArchitect South Coast
The Aperture is a series of films sponsored by the Regional Architecture Association (RAA) that promote architecture designed by regional architects. The RAA is a member-based, not-for-profit organization that supports regional architectural practitioners and advocates for the value of architecture in local communities. The film by Catherine Hunter explores Artie Smith Oval and the value of local consultants being involved in public architecture.
